Leadership
Derek Murzyn, CEO
Derek Murzyn serves as Chief Executive Officer for Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospitals in the Charlotte, NC area. He has been on board leading excellence in patient care delivery since May of 2016. Formerly, he was Executive Director for Kindred Healthcare’s Hospital Division of five acute-care hospitals in Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia. Derek has a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Miami University in Oxford, OH and his Masters of Health Administration from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Cyndi Hodge, MSN RN HACP, Chief Nursing Officer
Cyndi joined our team in May of 2018, and has more than 20 years of exemplary experience as a nurse leader and manager. Cyndi received her Bachelor of Science, Nursing and Master of Nursing, Leadership and Management from Western Governors’ University, Salt Lake City, Utah.
